Keycom offers £3,000 grant boost to take Stafford companies into the fast lane

A Government scheme to promote better broadband connectivity for businesses has gone live in Stafford.

The Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme, provided by BDUK, offers businesses a grant of up to £3,000 towards the cost of installation of superfast internet connections for SMEs.

Keycom, a Stafford based superfast broadband and IT company, has gained approved supplier status and is promoting the scheme in its home town.

Keycom will launch an awareness raising campaign at the start of May, initially targeting businesses in Stafford.

Neil Woolerton, Business Development Director, said: “Stafford is among the newest areas to become eligible for BDUK vouchers through the Government’s Super Connected Cities scheme.

“Keycom is delighted to be an approved supplier and will be talking to businesses about taking advantage of the voucher scheme during the spring and summer.”

Keycom is a provider of high speed, tailored broadband solutions to business and specialist sectors including social housing, universities and the armed forces.

Superfast broadband speeds are backed up by Keycom’s Stafford based 24/7 help centre.
